We diagnose the actual water source before we quote anything — no guessing, no upsell, just a plan sized to your basement.
Basement waterproofing mistakes usually come down to one thing: fixing the symptom instead of the source. A contractor who paints over a wet wall without checking cove joint condition or exterior grading is setting you up for the same call again in a year or two.
We're bonded and insured for both residential and light commercial basement work across Colfax, IL.
Our Colfax, IL crews are staffed locally, so a wet basement call doesn't sit in a national queue for a week.
No hourly billing and no change orders once your basement floor is already open.
Thermal imaging helps us confirm whether a stain is active moisture or an old, already-fixed leak.
We scope every Basement Waterproofing job in person before quoting it, since two properties with the same symptom rarely need the same fix.
The core fix for most Colfax, IL basements: a perimeter drain cut into the slab edge, tied to a sump basin, that intercepts water before it reaches the floor.
Every drain tile system needs a properly sized sump pump — we calculate basin size and pump horsepower from your square footage and local water table depth.
Vertical wall cracks get epoxy or polyurethane injection depending on whether they're still actively weeping.
We install membrane on masonry walls before any insulation or framing goes up, so moisture never gets a chance to reach finished materials.
Poor window well drainage is one of the most overlooked Colfax, IL basement leak sources, and it's often the cheapest fix on the list.
You describe what you're seeing — a wet spot, a musty smell, standing water — and we get a rough read on urgency before dispatching anyone.
We also check exterior grading and downspouts, since a lot of basement leaks start outside, not inside.
We explain the reasoning behind the recommended system so you know exactly what you're paying for and why.
You'll get warranty paperwork and a walkthrough of how the system works so you know what to expect going forward.
