We diagnose the actual water source before we quote anything — no guessing, no upsell, just a plan sized to your basement.
Basement waterproofing mistakes usually come down to one thing: fixing the symptom instead of the source. A contractor who paints over a wet wall without checking cove joint condition or exterior grading is setting you up for the same call again in a year or two.
Every technician carries full state licensing and liability coverage before they ever step into your basement.
Our Petersburg, MI crews are staffed locally, so a wet basement call doesn't sit in a national queue for a week.
No hourly billing and no change orders once your basement floor is already open.
We use pin-type moisture meters and a flashlight-and-crowbar inspection to trace water back to its real entry point.
Every Petersburg, MI Basement Waterproofing job starts with an inspection, not a generic package — here's what that typically includes.
The core fix for most Petersburg, MI basements: a perimeter drain cut into the slab edge, tied to a sump basin, that intercepts water before it reaches the floor.
Battery backup is available for any sump system, so a power outage during a storm doesn't undo the whole fix.
Vertical wall cracks get epoxy or polyurethane injection depending on whether they're still actively weeping.
A dimpled plastic membrane behind any finished basement wall channels residual moisture down to the drain tile instead of trapping it behind drywall.
Poor window well drainage is one of the most overlooked Petersburg, MI basement leak sources, and it's often the cheapest fix on the list.
A quick phone conversation lets us bring the right equipment on the first visit instead of a second trip.
A technician walks the basement with a moisture meter, checking walls, floor, and cove joints to trace the water back to its actual source.
We explain the reasoning behind the recommended system so you know exactly what you're paying for and why.
Most residential basement jobs finish in one to three days, and we test the sump pump under load before we leave.
"Our finished basement started smelling musty and we finally found a wet spot behind the drywall. They cut open the cove joint, ran drain tile, and it's been dry for over a year."

Yes — interior drain tile requires cutting a channel along the slab edge, which we patch with concrete once the system is installed.
Larger basements or those needing extensive crack repair can take a bit longer — we'll give you a realistic timeline in the written quote.
If the crack is actively weeping or part of a larger drainage issue, we'll recommend a full system instead of a spot fix.
We provide photos and moisture readings that many Petersburg, MI homeowners have used to support a claim.
Warranty terms are often transferable if you sell the property later.
