We diagnose the actual water source before we quote anything — no guessing, no upsell, just a plan sized to your basement.
We've seen enough Kannapolis, NC basements to know that a wet spot in one corner rarely tells the whole story. Before we recommend drain tile or a sump upgrade, we trace the water back to where it's actually entering, not just where you noticed it.
Every technician carries full state licensing and liability coverage before they ever step into your basement.
Most inspection requests get a same-day or next-day appointment, not a two-week wait.
No hourly billing and no change orders once your basement floor is already open.
We use pin-type moisture meters and a flashlight-and-crowbar inspection to trace water back to its real entry point.
Every Kannapolis, NC Basement Waterproofing job starts with an inspection, not a generic package — here's what that typically includes.
The core fix for most Kannapolis, NC basements: a perimeter drain cut into the slab edge, tied to a sump basin, that intercepts water before it reaches the floor.
Battery backup is available for any sump system, so a power outage during a storm doesn't undo the whole fix.
Vertical wall cracks get epoxy or polyurethane injection depending on whether they're still actively weeping.
We install membrane on masonry walls before any insulation or framing goes up, so moisture never gets a chance to reach finished materials.
Window wells that hold water after a storm are a direct pressure point against the glass and frame — we add gravel beds and drain lines tied into the main system.
A quick phone conversation lets us bring the right equipment on the first visit instead of a second trip.
A technician walks the basement with a moisture meter, checking walls, floor, and cove joints to trace the water back to its actual source.
You'll see drain tile footage, sump specs, and labor broken out separately, not one vague lump-sum number.
You'll get warranty paperwork and a walkthrough of how the system works so you know what to expect going forward.
"We'd patched a basement crack twice ourselves before calling. The interior drain tile system actually fixed it instead of just hiding it again."
— Kannapolis Homeowner
"Water came in around our window well every time it rained hard. They regraded it and added a drain line — problem solved."
— Kannapolis Customer
"They walked us through exactly why the water was coming in before quoting anything, which no one else had bothered to do."
— Kannapolis Homeowner
"Installed a battery backup sump pump for us right before a big storm season — glad we did it when we did."
— Kannapolis Customer
Cost depends on linear footage, sump basin size, and whether cove joint sealing is included — we won't give a number without an in-person inspection.
We keep the cut as narrow as possible and clean up debris before leaving the site.
Larger basements or those needing extensive crack repair can take a bit longer — we'll give you a realistic timeline in the written quote.
If the crack is actively weeping or part of a larger drainage issue, we'll recommend a full system instead of a spot fix.
Coverage depends on your policy and the cause of the water intrusion — we can document conditions for a claim, but approval is up to your insurer.
Yes, every interior drain tile and sump installation comes with a written warranty, explained in full before you approve the quote.
If your Kannapolis address falls just outside our standard coverage zone, call anyway — we often still make the trip for basement emergencies.
