We diagnose the actual water source before we quote anything — no guessing, no upsell, just a plan sized to your basement.
Basement waterproofing mistakes usually come down to one thing: fixing the symptom instead of the source. A contractor who paints over a wet wall without checking cove joint condition or exterior grading is setting you up for the same call again in a year or two.
Every technician carries full state licensing and liability coverage before they ever step into your basement.
Our Olivet, TN crews are staffed locally, so a wet basement call doesn't sit in a national queue for a week.
No hourly billing and no change orders once your basement floor is already open.
We use pin-type moisture meters and a flashlight-and-crowbar inspection to trace water back to its real entry point.
We scope every Basement Waterproofing job in person before quoting it, since two properties with the same symptom rarely need the same fix.
The core fix for most Olivet, TN basements: a perimeter drain cut into the slab edge, tied to a sump basin, that intercepts water before it reaches the floor.
Battery backup is available for any sump system, so a power outage during a storm doesn't undo the whole fix.
Vertical wall cracks get epoxy or polyurethane injection depending on whether they're still actively weeping.
We install membrane on masonry walls before any insulation or framing goes up, so moisture never gets a chance to reach finished materials.
Poor window well drainage is one of the most overlooked Olivet, TN basement leak sources, and it's often the cheapest fix on the list.
You describe what you're seeing — a wet spot, a musty smell, standing water — and we get a rough read on urgency before dispatching anyone.
We also check exterior grading and downspouts, since a lot of basement leaks start outside, not inside.
You'll see drain tile footage, sump specs, and labor broken out separately, not one vague lump-sum number.
Most residential basement jobs finish in one to three days, and we test the sump pump under load before we leave.
"We'd patched a basement crack twice ourselves before calling. The interior drain tile system actually fixed it instead of just hiding it again."
— Olivet Homeowner
"Sump basin was undersized from the last owner's DIY job. They resized it and we haven't had a drop since."
— Olivet Customer
"Appreciated that the estimate matched the final invoice exactly — no surprise add-ons once the floor was already open."
— Olivet Homeowner
"Installed a battery backup sump pump for us right before a big storm season — glad we did it when we did."
— Olivet Customer
Cost depends on linear footage, sump basin size, and whether cove joint sealing is included — we won't give a number without an in-person inspection.
We keep the cut as narrow as possible and clean up debris before leaving the site.
Larger basements or those needing extensive crack repair can take a bit longer — we'll give you a realistic timeline in the written quote.
If the crack is actively weeping or part of a larger drainage issue, we'll recommend a full system instead of a spot fix.
Coverage depends on your policy and the cause of the water intrusion — we can document conditions for a claim, but approval is up to your insurer.
Yes, every interior drain tile and sump installation comes with a written warranty, explained in full before you approve the quote.
If your Olivet address falls just outside our standard coverage zone, call anyway — we often still make the trip for basement emergencies.
