We excavate only where necessary and restore landscaping as part of the scope.
A lot of Fords, NJ exterior waterproofing failures trace back to a footing drain that was installed without proper slope, which means it never actually moved water the way it was supposed to. We verify slope during installation, not just at design.
Exterior work involves excavation near the foundation, and every crew member is trained and insured for that specific scope.
Weather-dependent scheduling means we plan exterior jobs around Fords, NJ's rainy season windows when possible.
Pricing is quoted per linear foot of foundation wall being treated, based on an on-site measurement, not a phone estimate.
We install dimpled membrane rated for below-grade use, paired with a footing drain that ties into your existing or new drainage system.
We scope every Exterior Waterproofing job in person before quoting it, since two properties with the same symptom rarely need the same fix.
This is the most comprehensive Fords, NJ waterproofing fix available, addressing the wall itself rather than just managing water after it gets in.
We slope footing drains correctly during installation, since a flat or reverse-sloped drain simply won't move water.
Soil that slopes toward the foundation instead of away from it is one of the most common Fords, NJ water intrusion causes, and it's often the cheapest fix on this list.
We also inspect and reseal the window frame itself while the well is open.
Downspouts discharging within a few feet of the foundation send roof water directly toward the problem — we extend them well clear of the wall.
We ask about grading, downspout placement, and where interior water is showing up to narrow down the likely exterior cause.
We flag any utility lines or landscaping features that need special handling during excavation.
You'll see linear footage, membrane type, and footing drain scope broken out with pricing before any digging starts.
We restore grading and any disturbed landscaping as the final step before calling the job complete.
"Interior fixes hadn't worked for us — turned out the real problem was grading pushing water straight at the foundation. Exterior correction solved it."
— Fords Homeowner
"They found our downspouts were dumping water two feet from the foundation. Extended them and regraded, and that alone made a noticeable difference."
— Fords Customer
"Appreciated that they called in utility locates before digging near our gas line."
— Fords Homeowner
"Fast turnaround given how much digging was involved."

Interior systems manage water after it enters; exterior systems stop water from reaching the wall in the first place, which is more invasive but often more permanent.
We discuss landscaping impact during the estimate so there are no surprises.
We measure your specific foundation during the on-site inspection rather than assuming a standard depth.
We'll walk through both options and their trade-offs so you can make an informed choice.
We'll recommend starting there if the inspection suggests surface water is the primary cause.
Larger projects or difficult access points can extend the timeline, which we'll outline in the written quote.
