Polyurethane expands to fill voids behind an actively weeping wall; epoxy is reserved for cracks that need structural bonding.

Structural cracks that aren't actively leaking get epoxy injection, which bonds the concrete back together rather than just sealing the surface.
Cracks that are still weeping get flexible polyurethane, which expands into voids and stays flexible enough to handle minor seasonal movement.
We also check for bowing alongside stair-step cracks, since that combination can point to a bigger structural issue.
Vertical cracks are usually settlement-related and often isolated; horizontal cracks can indicate hydrostatic pressure pushing on the wall and get flagged for further evaluation.
