We match liner thickness to how your Union Grove, AL space is actually used, not a one-size-fits-all default.
Union Grove, AL crawl spaces and basements see different levels of ground moisture depending on soil type and grading, which is part of why we size liner thickness to the specific space instead of defaulting to the same product every time.
Seam tape and pier wrapping are done to the standard that keeps warranties valid.
Standard-size crawl spaces and basements can frequently be completed in a single visit.
Pricing is based on your space's actual square footage and liner thickness selected, quoted in writing before installation.
Under-speccing thickness for a heavily used space is one of the most common installation mistakes we see and correct.
Every Union Grove, AL Vapor Barrier Installation job starts with an inspection, not a generic package — here's what that typically includes.
We overlap seams per manufacturer spec and seal them with rated tape, not just tucked edges that separate over time.
This is often done in coordination with a flooring contractor's timeline, and we can work around scheduled installation dates.
Support piers and posts get individually wrapped and sealed as part of a proper crawl space installation, since unwrapped piers are a common moisture bypass point.
We inspect the full liner before recommending repair versus replacement so you're not paying for a full redo unnecessarily.
We dispose of old material and debris as part of the job, leaving the space ready for the new barrier.
This helps us bring the correct liner and sealing materials on the first visit.
A technician measures the space, checks existing ground cover condition if any, and counts piers or posts that will need wrapping.
You'll see the recommended mil thickness, total square footage, and pier wrapping scope broken out with pricing.
We walk the finished installation with you to confirm seams are properly sealed before calling the job complete.
