We match liner thickness to how your Auburndale, WI space is actually used, not a one-size-fits-all default.
Auburndale, WI crawl spaces and basements see different levels of ground moisture depending on soil type and grading, which is part of why we size liner thickness to the specific space instead of defaulting to the same product every time.
Seam tape and pier wrapping are done to the standard that keeps warranties valid.
Vapor barrier installation is typically a quicker job than full encapsulation, and we can often schedule Auburndale, WI appointments within a few days.
No surprise add-ons — the number we quote covers material and labor for the full scope discussed.
We recommend liner thickness based on foot traffic, storage use, and moisture severity, not just selling the thickest option by default.
We scope every Vapor Barrier Installation job in person before quoting it, since two properties with the same symptom rarely need the same fix.
We overlap seams per manufacturer spec and seal them with rated tape, not just tucked edges that separate over time.
For unfinished basements, a vapor barrier under future flooring prevents ground moisture from reaching finished materials installed later.
Support piers and posts get individually wrapped and sealed as part of a proper crawl space installation, since unwrapped piers are a common moisture bypass point.
We inspect the full liner before recommending repair versus replacement so you're not paying for a full redo unnecessarily.
Old, torn, or undersized ground cover gets removed and replaced with properly rated liner sized to fully cover the space, piers included.
This helps us bring the correct liner and sealing materials on the first visit.
A technician measures the space, checks existing ground cover condition if any, and counts piers or posts that will need wrapping.
You'll see the recommended mil thickness, total square footage, and pier wrapping scope broken out with pricing.
We walk the finished installation with you to confirm seams are properly sealed before calling the job complete.
