A wet basement can come from a dozen different sources, and we trace yours back to the real cause before recommending any fix.
We've walked into plenty of Augusta, KY basements where two or three prior repairs each addressed a different symptom without solving the underlying combination of causes. Diagnosing the full picture first is what actually breaks that cycle.
A wet basement is often caused by more than one contributing factor, and we address the combination, not just the obvious symptom.
Wet basement calls get scheduled quickly, especially when there's active water or a musty odor that's gotten worse recently.
We break down each component of the fix so you understand what you're paying for and why it's included.
Between drain tile, sump systems, crack injection, and exterior grading, we can address nearly any wet basement cause without bringing in a second contractor.
Every Augusta, KY Wet Basement Repair job starts with an inspection, not a generic package — here's what that typically includes.
We use moisture meters, visual inspection, and a review of exterior grading and gutters to identify every contributing water source, not just the obvious one.
When groundwater is the primary source, interior drain tile tied to a properly sized sump basin intercepts it before it reaches your floor.
Cracks are often a secondary contributor alongside grading or drainage issues, not the sole cause.
We correct grading and extend downspouts as part of the full repair scope where the inspection points that direction.
We coordinate with mold remediation specialists when visible growth is already present, since that's outside our own scope.
We ask how long the basement has been wet, whether it's constant or storm-related, and what you've already tried.
A technician checks interior walls and floor, exterior grading, gutters, and window wells to build a complete picture of what's driving the moisture.
We explain the reasoning behind each recommendation so the plan makes sense, not just a list of line items.
We're available to reassess if conditions change after a major storm, since Augusta, KY weather can be unpredictable.
