Interior drainage, exterior grading, crack injection, or a combination — we scope what your Franklin Square, NY basement actually needs.
Chronic wet basements are rarely caused by just one thing, which is exactly why single-service contractors so often leave the problem half-solved. Our diagnostic process checks grading, drainage, and crack condition together before recommending a fix.
We check walls, floor, grading, gutters, and window wells before recommending a repair, not just the spot where you noticed water.
Our technicians know the common wet-basement patterns specific to Franklin Square, NY construction styles and soil conditions.
We break down each component of the fix so you understand what you're paying for and why it's included.
That range means the diagnosis drives the fix, not which single service a narrower contractor happens to offer.
Every Franklin Square, NY Wet Basement Repair job starts with an inspection, not a generic package — here's what that typically includes.
We use moisture meters, visual inspection, and a review of exterior grading and gutters to identify every contributing water source, not just the obvious one.
When groundwater is the primary source, interior drain tile tied to a properly sized sump basin intercepts it before it reaches your floor.
Cracks are often a secondary contributor alongside grading or drainage issues, not the sole cause.
A surprising number of Franklin Square, NY wet basements trace back to grading that slopes toward the foundation or downspouts discharging too close to the wall.
Chronic basement moisture creates conditions for mold growth, and part of our repair scope is getting humidity down to a level that doesn't support it.
That history helps us prioritize what to check first during the on-site visit.
A technician checks interior walls and floor, exterior grading, gutters, and window wells to build a complete picture of what's driving the moisture.
We explain the reasoning behind each recommendation so the plan makes sense, not just a list of line items.
Repairs are completed according to the written scope, and we test the system — pump, drain flow, or injection — before considering the job done.

Yes, and it often does — grading, a failed crack, and inadequate drainage frequently combine to create chronic moisture problems.
We focus on moisture control, and we coordinate with mold remediation specialists for visible growth, which falls outside our direct scope.
Cost depends entirely on which combination of repairs your basement needs — we won't estimate a number until the diagnostic inspection is complete.
Timeline depends on scope — a single-cause fix might take a day, while a combination of drainage, grading, and crack repair can take several days.
