A wet basement can come from a dozen different sources, and we trace yours back to the real cause before recommending any fix.
Chronic wet basements are rarely caused by just one thing, which is exactly why single-service contractors so often leave the problem half-solved. Our diagnostic process checks grading, drainage, and crack condition together before recommending a fix.
We check walls, floor, grading, gutters, and window wells before recommending a repair, not just the spot where you noticed water.
Wet basement calls get scheduled quickly, especially when there's active water or a musty odor that's gotten worse recently.
Whatever combination of repairs your basement needs, the price is quoted in writing before any work begins.
That range means the diagnosis drives the fix, not which single service a narrower contractor happens to offer.
Every Oxford, WI Wet Basement Repair job starts with an inspection, not a generic package — here's what that typically includes.
We use moisture meters, visual inspection, and a review of exterior grading and gutters to identify every contributing water source, not just the obvious one.
This is the most common fix for Oxford, WI basements with a consistently high water table.
Cracks are often a secondary contributor alongside grading or drainage issues, not the sole cause.
A surprising number of Oxford, WI wet basements trace back to grading that slopes toward the foundation or downspouts discharging too close to the wall.
We coordinate with mold remediation specialists when visible growth is already present, since that's outside our own scope.
That history helps us prioritize what to check first during the on-site visit.
We don't stop at the first obvious cause — chronic wet basements often have more than one contributing factor.
You'll get a written scope covering every component of the recommended fix, whether that's one service or several combined.
We're available to reassess if conditions change after a major storm, since Oxford, WI weather can be unpredictable.
