We match liner thickness to how your Ocean Gate, NJ space is actually used, not a one-size-fits-all default.
Ocean Gate, NJ crawl spaces and basements see different levels of ground moisture depending on soil type and grading, which is part of why we size liner thickness to the specific space instead of defaulting to the same product every time.
Seam tape and pier wrapping are done to the standard that keeps warranties valid.
Standard-size crawl spaces and basements can frequently be completed in a single visit.
Pricing is based on your space's actual square footage and liner thickness selected, quoted in writing before installation.
We recommend liner thickness based on foot traffic, storage use, and moisture severity, not just selling the thickest option by default.
Every Ocean Gate, NJ Vapor Barrier Installation job starts with an inspection, not a generic package — here's what that typically includes.
Heavy-gauge liner is installed across the entire crawl space floor and up the foundation walls, sealed at every seam to block ground moisture transmission.
For unfinished basements, a vapor barrier under future flooring prevents ground moisture from reaching finished materials installed later.
We use pier boots designed specifically for this purpose rather than improvised wrapping that fails within a year or two.
We inspect the full liner before recommending repair versus replacement so you're not paying for a full redo unnecessarily.
Old, torn, or undersized ground cover gets removed and replaced with properly rated liner sized to fully cover the space, piers included.
This helps us bring the correct liner and sealing materials on the first visit.
A technician measures the space, checks existing ground cover condition if any, and counts piers or posts that will need wrapping.
You'll see the recommended mil thickness, total square footage, and pier wrapping scope broken out with pricing.
Most standard-size installations are completed in a single visit, sealed and ready the same day.
