We match liner thickness to how your Cornelius, OR space is actually used, not a one-size-fits-all default.
Cornelius, OR crawl spaces and basements see different levels of ground moisture depending on soil type and grading, which is part of why we size liner thickness to the specific space instead of defaulting to the same product every time.
We follow manufacturer overlap and seam-sealing specifications on every install, not shortcuts that look fine until moisture finds the gaps.
Vapor barrier installation is typically a quicker job than full encapsulation, and we can often schedule Cornelius, OR appointments within a few days.
Pricing is based on your space's actual square footage and liner thickness selected, quoted in writing before installation.
Under-speccing thickness for a heavily used space is one of the most common installation mistakes we see and correct.
We scope every Vapor Barrier Installation job in person before quoting it, since two properties with the same symptom rarely need the same fix.
We overlap seams per manufacturer spec and seal them with rated tape, not just tucked edges that separate over time.
This is often done in coordination with a flooring contractor's timeline, and we can work around scheduled installation dates.
We use pier boots designed specifically for this purpose rather than improvised wrapping that fails within a year or two.
We inspect the full liner before recommending repair versus replacement so you're not paying for a full redo unnecessarily.
We dispose of old material and debris as part of the job, leaving the space ready for the new barrier.
Tell us the square footage, whether it's a crawl space or basement, and how the space is used so we can recommend the right thickness.
We also check for standing water or excessive debris that would need addressing before liner installation.
You'll see the recommended mil thickness, total square footage, and pier wrapping scope broken out with pricing.
Most standard-size installations are completed in a single visit, sealed and ready the same day.
