A wet basement can come from a dozen different sources, and we trace yours back to the real cause before recommending any fix.
Chronic wet basements are rarely caused by just one thing, which is exactly why single-service contractors so often leave the problem half-solved. Our diagnostic process checks grading, drainage, and crack condition together before recommending a fix.
A wet basement is often caused by more than one contributing factor, and we address the combination, not just the obvious symptom.
Our technicians know the common wet-basement patterns specific to Auburn, NY construction styles and soil conditions.
We break down each component of the fix so you understand what you're paying for and why it's included.
Between drain tile, sump systems, crack injection, and exterior grading, we can address nearly any wet basement cause without bringing in a second contractor.
We scope every Wet Basement Repair job in person before quoting it, since two properties with the same symptom rarely need the same fix.
A written diagnostic summary explains what we found and why we're recommending a specific repair combination.
When groundwater is the primary source, interior drain tile tied to a properly sized sump basin intercepts it before it reaches your floor.
Cracks are often a secondary contributor alongside grading or drainage issues, not the sole cause.
We correct grading and extend downspouts as part of the full repair scope where the inspection points that direction.
Chronic basement moisture creates conditions for mold growth, and part of our repair scope is getting humidity down to a level that doesn't support it.
That history helps us prioritize what to check first during the on-site visit.
A technician checks interior walls and floor, exterior grading, gutters, and window wells to build a complete picture of what's driving the moisture.
We explain the reasoning behind each recommendation so the plan makes sense, not just a list of line items.
Repairs are completed according to the written scope, and we test the system — pump, drain flow, or injection — before considering the job done.

Previous repairs may have addressed only one contributing factor while others were left unresolved — our diagnostic process checks for the full picture.
A written diagnostic summary explains our findings before we recommend any specific repair.
Yes, and it often does — grading, a failed crack, and inadequate drainage frequently combine to create chronic moisture problems.
We focus on moisture control, and we coordinate with mold remediation specialists for visible growth, which falls outside our direct scope.
Cost depends entirely on which combination of repairs your basement needs — we won't estimate a number until the diagnostic inspection is complete.
We give you a realistic timeline in the written repair plan based on your specific diagnosis.
