We diagnose the actual water source before we quote anything — no guessing, no upsell, just a plan sized to your basement.
Basement waterproofing mistakes usually come down to one thing: fixing the symptom instead of the source. A contractor who paints over a wet wall without checking cove joint condition or exterior grading is setting you up for the same call again in a year or two.
We're bonded and insured for both residential and light commercial basement work across Des Plaines, IL.
Our Des Plaines, IL crews are staffed locally, so a wet basement call doesn't sit in a national queue for a week.
You get one written number before drilling starts, covering drain tile, sump basin, and discharge line.
Thermal imaging helps us confirm whether a stain is active moisture or an old, already-fixed leak.
Every Des Plaines, IL Basement Waterproofing job starts with an inspection, not a generic package — here's what that typically includes.
The core fix for most Des Plaines, IL basements: a perimeter drain cut into the slab edge, tied to a sump basin, that intercepts water before it reaches the floor.
Battery backup is available for any sump system, so a power outage during a storm doesn't undo the whole fix.
The cove joint where the floor meets the foundation wall is one of the most common Des Plaines, IL leak points, and we seal it as part of every interior system.
A dimpled plastic membrane behind any finished basement wall channels residual moisture down to the drain tile instead of trapping it behind drywall.
Poor window well drainage is one of the most overlooked Des Plaines, IL basement leak sources, and it's often the cheapest fix on the list.
A quick phone conversation lets us bring the right equipment on the first visit instead of a second trip.
We also check exterior grading and downspouts, since a lot of basement leaks start outside, not inside.
We explain the reasoning behind the recommended system so you know exactly what you're paying for and why.
Most residential basement jobs finish in one to three days, and we test the sump pump under load before we leave.
